Bulloch Fertilizer Company was established in 1963 by Raybon Anderson. For years the home for their offices, plant, and small retail store have been located on West Main street near the downtown of Statesboro, Georgia. By 2003 it was time to expand their retail store. Raybon and his son Mike decided to focus on what they always have: renowned customer service, loyal customers, and their Purina dealership. Using the premier service program offered by Purina, they began building a new store. The offices and plant have remained downtown, but in October 2005 Anderson's General Store opened on Highway 80 east in the booming retail area of Statesboro, Georgia.
